Congratulations to our division sister, Cecilia Leonard on receiving the St. Brigid of Ireland Humanitarian Award! The prestigious St. Brigid of Ireland Humanitarian Award is bestowed biennially at the National Convention to a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Inc. In recognicition of extraordinary acts of humanitarianism. The St. Brigid of Ireland Humanitarian Award embodies the significant difference that the members of Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Inc make in the lives of others, their community and church furthering our motto of Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity. This is a national award. We know Ceil has always given so much of herself to humanitarian issues and always does so with kindness and generosity. She is truly deserving of this award and we couldn't be prouder! We would also like to congratulate Delores Fitzgerald from Oswego, who tied with Ceil for the award.
