Our division is named after John F. Kennedy, the first and so far only Irish Catholic President of the United States. Our charter was issued on April 27, 1913 and just a few years ago we celebrated our 100th anniversary! We were honored to have then President Cecilia Leonard serve as the Grand Marshall of the 2013 Albany St. Patrick's Day Parade. She chose as her aides all of her division sisters. Cecilia also wrote a personal history of our Division for our centennial anniversary souvenir journal. A copy of which will be submitted to the Boston College LAOH Archives.

Our membership is very active in charitable works. Some of our charity partners include: Community Maternity Services of Albany, Blessed Sacrament Catholic School of Albany, Blessed Sacrament Food Pantry of Albany, Community Hospice, Double H Ranch, Columban Sisters, Columban Fathers, Support Our Aging Religious, Project St. Patrick, Celtic Rays of Hope.
We are exceptionally proud of our commitment to Freedom For All Ireland (FFAI) and have been recognized several times for leading the LAOH in annual donations. Over the past five years we have raised more than $8,000 for FFAI which is distributed to charities in Ireland that are working towards a lasting peace. We are also extremely proud of our sisters who further the good work of the Order by serving on the County, State and National LAOH Boards and our local Capital District Trinity Degree Team:
